Hello, I'm Shane—a photographic craftsman based along the shores and islands of Lake Erie. My practice has expanded from editorial photography into commercial and fine art imagery, creating visual stories that elevate brands and give spaces a sense of presence and atmosphere. This freelance photography portfolio showcases my collaborative work with brands, creatives, and organizations seeking thoughtful and distinctive imagery.

My work has never been defined by a single subject or category. The specialization is not simply what I photograph, but how I see. Through a careful attention to light, composition, and storytelling, I create imagery that communicates character, emotion, and purpose. Whether working with a brand, a thoughtfully designed space, or a creative vision, my goal is to create photographs that go beyond documentation and leave a lasting impression.

A graduate of the Washington School of Photography (Washington, D.C., 2003), I honed my craft through apprenticeships with seasoned professionals within the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), progressing from production assistant to corporate staff photographer to independent creative. In 2008, I was certified by the Arizona Board of Education to teach Digital Media & Photography, bringing an educational foundation to my creative work.

My creative imagery has been featured in Photographer's Forum Magazine (Santa Barbara, California), Western News & Info Inc. (Cottonwood, Arizona), Landscape Photography Magazine (United Kingdom), and The Red Rock News (Sedona, Arizona), an internationally recognized arts community.

I've had the pleasure of collaborating on commercial branding and marketing projects with West USA Realty (Prescott, Arizona), Frank's Vintage Guitars (Sedona, Arizona), Carova Beach Fire Department (Carova, North Carolina), The Land Rover Experience (Biltmore and Virginia Beach), Twiddy & Company (Outer Banks, North Carolina), and The Island Guest House and Motel (Manteo, North Carolina), to name a few.
